Empowering Student Voices Through the Lions Speak Out Contest

The Lions Speak Out contest gives students a valuable opportunity to explore the issues shaping their communities—and to put their ideas into words with confidence and purpose.

I had the privilege of serving as one of the two questioners and hearing directly from the participants. Topsy and Danielle stood out for their clarity, confidence, and thoughtful perspectives, bringing forward ideas that reflect the issues that matter most to them and their peers.

Their contributions were a powerful reminder of the insight and leadership young people bring to conversations about our shared future.
