Braedon Clark is the Member of Parliament for Sackville—Bedford—Preston. It’s also where he grew up and where he lives with his wife, Caitie, and their two children, Beau and Heidi. Above all else, he values his role as a husband and father, whether coaching Beau’s basketball team or delivering award-winning performances as Ken while playing Barbie with Heidi. These moments with his family keep him grounded and fuel his commitment to work hard for the people of this riding.
Braedon has always been driven to make a difference. He graduated from Dalhousie University in 2010 with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts (Political Science and Government), and later from Carleton University in 2013 with a Master’s degree in Journalism. He built a career in journalism, politics, and public relations, working in both the public and private sectors. Most notably, he served as the first Member of the Nova Scotia Legislative Assembly for Bedford South, where he fought to make life more affordable, improve housing, and deliver results for people. One of his key achievements was introducing legislation that helped secure provincial coverage for continuous glucose monitors, improving access to essential health technology for people living with diabetes.
Braedon understands that politics isn’t just about policies; it’s about people. It’s about listening to constituents, understanding their challenges, and working to find real solutions. Whether it’s helping a family access federal benefits, advocating for investments in national infrastructure and public transit, or ensuring small businesses have the tools to grow in a changing economy, Braedon believes that effective leadership starts with showing up, listening, and taking action. He also strongly believes in a politics based on mutual respect and the idea that we should debate ideas, not attack people. Above all, he’s committed to delivering results on the issues that matter most to the people of Sackville—Bedford—Preston.
