Today, Braedon Clark, Member of Parliament for Sackville—Bedford—Preston, announced a federal investment totaling more than $1.2 million for two Dartmouth-based manufacturers.
These repayable investments will help the following companies accelerate product development, reduce costs, improve service delivery, and reach new markets. Specifically:
- Site 20/20 Incorporated will expand its production capacity by retrofitting a larger facility with advanced manufacturing and assembly areas, research and development prototyping labs, and upgraded IT infrastructure. The project is expected to create 50 to 60 skilled jobs while accelerating growth and strengthening the company’s ability to remain competitive and meet rising demand ($745,000).
- Atlantica Mechanical Contractors Inc. will modernize its sheet metal fabrication facility and acquire automated equipment to increase productivity, enhance efficiencies, and reduce maintenance delays. The upgrades will enable the facility to operate as an internal support function and a regional fabrication supplier for mechanical contractors ($456,291).
Today’s announcement demonstrates the Government of Canada’s commitment to helping businesses invest in innovation, productivity, and growth. These investments will support facility upgrades, advanced technologies, and expanded manufacturing capacity to strengthen competitiveness and supply chains.
